A court in Moscow sentenced the leader and 11 members of a terrorist cell to up to 25 years in prison for plotting to assassinate Margarita Simonyan and other crimes, including robbery and incitement of hatred.

In Moscow, 12 members of a terrorist cell were convicted for plotting to assassinate Simonyan and Sobchak, including leader Mikhail Balashov, who received a 20-year prison sentence.
