A judge from the Kuybyshev District Court of St. Petersburg placed 58-year-old PhD candidate Igor Zaitsev under house arrest in a case concerning the financing of FBK.

Igor Zaitsev, an associate professor at the European University in St. Petersburg, was arrested for 1 month and 19 days for donating to an extremist organization, having transferred 3,500 rubles in seven transactions in 2021 and 2022.
